Community Groups

Community Groups have one purpose - to become like Jesus.

Why small groups?

We believe that each person God has created is extremely valuable. This is why we seek to be a generous church. However, as humans, we need more than stuff. We also need each other. This is why we emphasize smaller settings where relationships can be developed. We call these smaller groups community groups. 

Is this a Bible study?

Community groups are not “Bible Studies” in the traditional, educational sense. The groups are casual, welcoming, non-judgmental, and shared discussions enabling Christians as well as those “testing the waters” to discover how practically the Bible relates to everyday life.

How big are the groups?

Community groups include home groups, men's groups, women's groups and student groups. We emphasize groups of this size because Jesus did. While he occasionally taught large groups, the majority of His time was spent in relationship with 12 guys. Therefore, we believe that we will become most like Jesus by following Him together.
